Renewable Energy Conference

Feb 16th-18th: 4th Annual Southeastern Student Renewable Energy Conference will take place at Clemson University. Join Earth Club as we collaborate with students from other universities around the Southeast US to tackle environmental problems at the national, regional, state, and local levels. Homecoming Stream Clean-up

On the day of the Homecoming basketball game, 15 members of Earth Club collected 200 pounds of trash from the stream that runs behind the soccer field.

CO2 Photo Petition

On January 31st, Earth Club collected 87 photos to send to Congress along with the Campus Climate Challenge Photo Petition asking lawmakers to pass legislation that cuts CO2 and other carbon emissions by 80% by the year 2050.

Student Organization Showcase

The Earth Club will have a table at the Spring Student Organization Showcase, which will take place on Wednesday, January 24th, from 11 AM to 1 PM. Join us as we showcase our survey results, promote the upcoming showings of An Inconvenient Truth, and get our good name out to the students!

9 members of Earth Club attended the Duke Energy Cliffsides coal plant hearing and press conference held by the Carolinas Clean Air Coalition.

America Recycles Day

Come join Earth Club on Tuesday, November 14th from 11 AM to 2 PM in front of the Belk Tower as we celebrate America Recycles Day sponsored by the UNCC Office of Waste Reudction and Recycling. There will also be a giant Take It or Leave It table, so take what you need and bring what you don't need. We're also hoping to have the results of our survey on display, so stop by and check us out!
