ANS is an organization of pre-nursing and nursing students. We help
prepare students for a future in nursing. We strive to increase
knowledge about the nursing profession and participate in community
programs. Through volunteering, we can use our caring attitudes and
knowledge of health issues to reach people outside of the clinical
setting. Meeting dates: All meetings will be held in CHHS Room 128.All classes: Thursday, January 22, 2009 at 12:30 PM Thursday, February 19, 2009 at 12:30 PM Thursday, March 19, 2009 at 12:30 PM Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 12:30 PM Important Dates: (click events for more info) Important Information: Membership dues are $5 per semester. Dues are collected at the September and February meetings.
Members of ANS can sign up to request a mentor or to be a
mentor. The purpose of the mentor program will be to provide
advice and support from Senior 1 and Senior 2 nursing students
to the Junior 1 and Junior 2 students.
How will it work?
Junior 1 and Junior 2 students can email
Lindsay Cronin
to request a mentor. An email will be sent out to the Senior 1
and Senior 2 students to ask if anyone would like to be a
mentor. Your name will not be disclosed in the email request.
You will then be matched up with the first person to respond to
the mentor request. It is then up to the two students to set up
a meeting.
