Okan Pala and Tiffany Barnes, Charlotte Dancesport
Okan and Tiffany have been dancing together for about
6 years. In addition to their previous successful results,
they have placed first in International Standard Gold, Open
Novice and Viennese Waltz at the Triangle Open 2007.
Tiffany organized many
events including competitions (Triangle Invitational for 5
times and CDC last year) and weekend long dance workshops.
In 2007 Okan and Tiffany successfully organized first
Charlotte Dancesport Challenge in Charlotte NC (at UNC
Charlotte campus) that attracted more than 170 competitors
from all over the east coast. |

Jonathan Medlin & Malin Allert of
Raleigh, NC
Jonathan Medlin and Malin Allert have been dancing together
for about three years. They are active dancesport
competitors, teachers, and choreographers. Jonathan is the
former US Amateur American Ballroom National Champion. As
well, he has finished 2nd in both the US Amateur
American Rhythm and American Style 9-Dance National
Championship divisions. Most recently, he completed his
Master’s of Architecture from the NCSU School of Design in
May and works as an architect in Raleigh. Malin, having
moved from Sweden several years ago, comes from an extensive
European dancing background and works as a leading
Post-Doctoral BioChemistry researcher with Duke University.
Both Jonathan and Malin are Amateur dance competitors that
donate their time for shows and teaching for the local
community & University Ballroom Dance Programs. Together
they are the 2005 National Colligate Int. Standard
Dancesport Champions,
NW Regional World Class Standard Finalists, as well as
Master Choreographers for the Duke Univ. Ballroom Formation
Team. |

Daniel Calloway of Washington, DC - Chairman of the
Judges
Daniel Calloway has been coaching and judging for 28 years.
He is a Championship Adjudicator, NDCA, and a duel Fellow in
the ISTD - Ballroom & Latin American. He was a U.S. and
Asian-Pacific 10-Dance Grand Finalist, and won over 20
Professional Dance Titles. He is the primary coach of the
Georgetown University and University of Maryland Dancesport
teams. |

Wendi Davies of NY, NY - Adjudicator
Wendi began dancing while at Princeton studying
architecture. A competitive swimmer for many years, she was
looking for a new competitive outlet. The daughter of
dancing parents, she soon learned of the competitive and
athletic nature of Ballroom Dancing. In her amateur career
she was ranked third in the United States. She turned
professional in 1991 and went on to be ranked second at the
United States Championships, and was the winner of
“Championship Ballroom Dancing” the popular show on PBS.
She was the UK Rising Star Champion, Blackpool Rising Star
Runner-up, US Representative to the World Championships and
Blackpool Team Match, a finalist at the French Open and the
US Open Championships and was ranked 13th in the world. She
is co- owner and operator of Ballroom On Fifth in NYC and
organizer of the NJ DanceSport Classic competitions. Contact

Wayne Crowder of Eden, NC - Adjudicator
Wayne is a
four time USA Dance Amateur Champion in Latin and a 3-time USA
representative to the IDSF World Latin Championships which were
held in Belgium, Spain and Italy. Wayne has won numerous
Regional Standard and Latin Championship titles and was a
Standard finalist in the USA DanceSport National Championships.
Wayne is a
proud member of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (the
ISTD), with the following degrees:
Licentiate International Standard,
Licentiate International Latin,
Licentiate American Smooth,
Licentiate American Rhythm
Wayne also
serves on the National Committee of the United States Imperial
Society of Teachers of Dancing and as a Dancesport Delegate for
USA Dance. |

Marie Crowder of Eden, NC - Adjudicator
Marie is a

Robertas Maleckis & Inga Sirkaite of Durham, NC
- Adjudicators
Robertas and Inga have been dancing together for 13
years. They started dancing in Lithuania and have danced in
England for 2 years before moving to US. They won many
prestigious titles throughout their successful dancing
career. Robertas and Inga are currently residing in Durham,
NC and teaching in DancePlus Dance Studio in Duham.

Vitaly Vdovichenko & Lyuda Borodulina of
Charlotte, NC

Vitaly and
Lyuda
have been dancing together and actively competing for 15
years. They were 10 Dance
Champions of Siberia. US National Rising Star Champions in
standard. Finalists of US Open rising star championship.
Finalists of all major competitions in USA. Currently they are residing and
teaching in Charlotte NC. |

Eduardo Torres and Cristina Acevedo of Greenville, SC
Eduardo Torres and Cristina Acevedo have been dancing
together for 5 years. They started in the collegiate scene
and fell in love with dancing pretty quick. Now, they teach
at the South Carolina Ballroom Company in Greenville, SC.
When they first became professional dancers, they had a very
promising start, semi-finalist of Hotlanta 2006, 1st place
in rising star Hotlanta 2006. Recently they won the Rising
Star at Yuletide Ball. As amateurs they won several
events: 2005 SE Regionals Champions, 2005 Ohio Star Ball
Champions, 2005 National Sub-champions, 2006 3rd place
National American Rhythm Championship, etc..

Eileen Perrin is a dual Licentiate (Ballroom and Latin) with
the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. Eileen, with
her partner and husband Mark, are 2000 USABDA National
Dancesport Championship Silver Medalists for American
