Parking on Saturdays and Sunday's is FREE.  Park in the Cone Visitor Deck next to the Cone Center.

From the North:  Take I-85 South to Exit 45A (W.T. Harris Blvd).  The exit merges onto W.T. Harris Blvd and takes you over the overpass.  Go approximately 1 mile and cross over Tryon Road.  After Tryon Road there is an Exit off on W.T. Harris to the Right that takes you to UNC Charlotte.  At the bottom of the exit, turn Left.  At the second stoplight (approximately 1.5 miles), take a Left onto the UNC Charlotte Campus.  Take the Left fork and follow the signs to the Visitors/Cone Parking Deck.

From the South:  Take I-85 North or I-77 North to I-85 North (depending on where you are coming from) to exit 45A (W.T. Harris Blvd).  The exit merges Right onto W.T. Harris Blvd.  Go approximately 1 mile and cross over Tryon Road.  After Tryon Road there is an Exit off on W.T. Harris to the Right that takes you to UNC Charlotte.  At the bottom of the exit, turn Left.  At the second stoplight (approximately 1.5 miles), take a Left onto the UNC Charlotte Campus.  Take the Left fork and follow the signs to the Visitors/Cone Parking Deck.

 

  • Directions to Cone Center from University Entrance:
  • Once you arrive at entrance point turn into campus. This will put you on Broadrick drive.
  • Keep left to stay on Broadrick.
  • Next turn left on University loop and turn right on the small road when you see the sign for "Visitor Parking".
  • Turn into Visitor Parking (See the map below for reference).
  • Once parked, cross the road (you may also use sky walk way to cross) and enter the Cone Center.
  • Follow signs in the building to get to the ballroom.

 

Directions to UNC Charlotte

From North via I-77
  1. South on I-77
  2. Take exit 18 (Harris Blvd)
  3. Turn left onto Harris (go 7 miles to the exit for UNC Charlotte/Hwy 49)
  4. At bottom of exit ramp, turn left on NC-49 / UNIVERSITY CITY BLVD
  5. Campus is 1 mile on the LEFT.

via I-85

  1. South on I-85
  2. Merge onto I-485 S via EXIT 48 toward US-29
  3. Take the NC-49 exit- EXIT 33
  4. Turn RIGHT onto NC-49 S / UNIVERSITY CITY BLVD.
  5. Turn RIGHT at 9201 UNIVERSITY CITY BLVD, CHARLOTTE
From South via I-77
  1. North on I-77
  2. Merge onto I-85 N via EXIT 13A toward GREENSBORO
  3. Follow I-85 directions below...

via I-85

  1. North on I-85
  2. Merge onto US-29 BYP N via EXIT 42 toward NC-49 / US-29
  3. Stay STRAIGHT to go onto US-29 N / NC-49 N / N TRYON ST.
    Continue to follow NC-49 N.
  4. Turn LEFT at 9201 UNIVERSITY CITY BLVD, CHARLOTTE
From East via US 74
  1. Turn right onto Harris Blvd
  2. Travel 9 miles to UNC Charlotte\Hwy 49 exit
  3. At bottom of exit ramp, turn left on 49
  4. Campus is 1 mile on left
From Concord
 		 via US 29
  1. Turn left onto Harris Blvd
  2. Go 1/2 mile to UNC Charlotte\Hwy 49 exit
  3. At bottom of exit ramp, turn left on 49
  4. Campus is 1 mile on left
From Airport Charlotte-Douglas International Airport
  1. Leave terminal on Airport Freeway Road
  2. Go straight at traffic light.
  3. Get in left lane to exit for Billy Graham Parkway North to I-85
  4. Stay in right lane on Billy Graham Parkway through two traffic lights.
  5. Immediately under second light, turn right onto I-85N toward Concord.
  6. Go 11.2 miles to Exit 45 (Harris Blvd East)
  7. Go one mile to UNC Charlotte\Hwy 49 exit
  8. At bottom of exit ramp, turn left on 49
  9. Campus is 1 mile on left
