The UNC Charlotte Fire and Safety Technologist group, a recognized student organization on the campus of UNC Charlotte, is a group of Fire and Safety Engineering Technology Students that gather outside the class room in a fun and sociable manner.

The group participates in many on campus activities such as intramural sports, fundraising, education, public speakers, and many other on campus events.

The FAST Organization has its own philanthropy called "Niners Helping Niners".  The main purpose of this philanthropy is to gain funding to purchase medical and fire related equipment, to help protect the more than 30,000 people that occupy UNC Charlotte's campus each and every day.

FAST is a growing and expanding organization that looks at making an IMPACT on fire and life safety in and around our community.
