Folder Contents: 5/25/06, GPSG Office Hours, and Organization
Information update form. The officers will use folders to communicate important
papers/announcements to organizations. There is also a box in the SGA office in
Cone Center that anyone can use.
o Reminder to please check your organization’s mailbox in the Cone Center (Cone 369) regularly, at least twice a month
o Contact Information Sheet: Some groups have been more cooperative in getting contact and officer information to GPSG officers. For this reason, we request that you fill out this sheet before you leave today as best as you can. Include at least one email address so we can contact someone from your organization

o Secretary Position- Nominations?
o All organizations Treasurers MUST attend
Volunteer Requirement
o Each charter is required to volunteer at least two times per academic year for
GPSG-level events or projects
o Serving as GPSG officer or committee member will count as one volunteer event
o Other Volunteer Opportunities:
• Research Fair
• Graduate School Orientation
• Graduate and Professional Student Week (in the spring)
• Others will be announced as they arise
o Volunteer participation will be tracked by the GPSG secretary
Other Announcements and Reminders
o Make sure that your organization is registered with SGA by Friday, September 8 at 5:00 pm
o All treasurer’s must go to the SAFC website and register to be authorized to use your group’s funds
o The GPSG fall meeting schedule will be sent out before the next meeting
o New charters: GASP and OSGA
o All Organization Treasurers must attend! (and other officers if they want to have
signature authority)
o Each charter must volunteer for GPSG-level events or projects no less than two
times per academic year
o Serving as GPSG officer or committee member will count as volunteer event.
Finance Committee Business:
Treasurer- Maggie Gravelle
o Last business of the day: “The Finance Committee shall hear all matters concerning all GPSG finances, including but not limited to the allocation and maintenance of the GPSG annual budget, the allocation of annual budgets for the clubs and organizations.
o Travel budget of $5,500.00 availability to be voted on.
o Four nominations for the finance committee were accepted today -
Jon (ABGS) is nominated to be a member of the Finance Committee.

Committee
