Model UN at UNCC

Basic Description

The UNC Charlotte Model UN Chapter has two aspects to it: the club and the class. In the fall semester, MUN is open to all students and it is set up as a club. Also in the fall, we participate in the Southern Regional MUN Conference. Afterwards, members try out for the class which is offered in the spring and taught by our advisor, Dr. Cynthia Combs, of the Political Science Department. During the spring semester, MUN prepares intensively for various conferences around the world, such as the Word MUN Conference, as part of POLS4163, a Senior Capstone class for Political Science. MUN has had many achievements at both the national and regional levels and all the participants here at UNC Charlotte are very dedicated.
