Our mission is to provide academic and social support for adult and non-traditional students. NTSO participates
in various community service projects and offers events to promote unity both on and off campus. NTSO's goal
is to get more adult students connected to the university while they maintain work, family, and academics.

What are the Goals of NTSO? |

Our 2006 - 2007 goals are to:
- Increase membership and active participation in NTSO.
- Increase attendance at monthly meetings and social events.
- Increase member awareness of and involvement in student legislative activities and campus events.
- Create opportunities for members to network and develop contacts and friendships through NTSO.
- Promote campus connectedness for adult commuter students.
- Increase marketing/ awareness of NTSO's mission for recruitment.
- Encourage family involvement and support for NTSO members.
- Use the NTSO Web site to keep members informed.
- Use the OASES (Office of Adult Students and Evening Services) Newsletter and the Adult Student
Orientation each semester to inform members of news and events.
- Assist OASES with Non-Traditional Student Week in October by sponsoring activities for NTSO member and adult students.
- Update the Standard Operations Book for each new officer.
- Start and continue community projects.
- Make NTSO known on campus and in the community.
