The Counseling Center:
The Counseling Center at the University of North Carolina at
Charlotte supports the academic, personal, and interpersonal
development of UNC Charlotte students by providing short-term
individual and group counseling, psychiatric assessment and
medication management, and consultation for faculty, staff,
parents, and students, and educational programs to the campus
community.

Multicultural Resource Center:
The primary mission of the Multicultural Resource center is to
provide a variety of campus-wide social, cultural and
educational activities and resources to support the UNC
Charlotte community. The center promotes campus-wide awareness
of multicultural, diversity and human relations issues, through
education, training and programming.

The Lesbian and Gay Community Center:
We provide space and opportunity to nurture, celebrate, and
empower our diverse LGBT community through programs, events, and
collaboration.

Charlotte Pride: An
annual queer festival in Marshall Park in downtown Charlotte.

Time Out Youth: Time
Out Youth exists to give support, education, advocacy,
affirmation, and empowerment to lesbian, gay, bisexual,
transgender and questioning youth, ages 13 through 23, in the
greater Charlotte area. Time Out Youth offers weekly support /
discussion group every Monday night from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. All
interested youth are welcome!

Human Rights Campaign:
As America's largest gay and lesbian organization, the Human
Rights Campaign provides a national voice on gay and lesbian
issues.

The Advocate: The
award-winning national gay and lesbian newsmagazine website

Unity Fellowship Unitarian Church:
The Unity Fellowship Church was founded in 1982 by Archbishop
Carl Bean and openly gay and lesbian African-Americans. The
church is a non-partisan, non-profit organization.
