The Game Tomorrow is against Lander
Hey Guys here are the directions to the field where we will be playing. We will be carpooling from campus again on saturday. We will meet at the staircase behind the cone center. The game is at 3:30pm so we need to leave campus by 11:30am at the latest. Everyone needs to be at the cone center by 11:15am or you will be left behind. Driving Directions
1. Start out going SOUTH on NC-49 S/UNIVERSITY CITY BLVD toward MARY ALEXANDER RD. Continue to follow NC-49 S. (2.23 miles)
2. Merge onto US-29 BYP S toward I-85 S/GASTONIA. (0.60 miles)
3. Merge onto I-85 S (Crossing into SOUTH CAROLINA). (78.29 miles)
4. Merge onto I-26 E via EXIT 70 toward COLUMBIA. (35.00 miles)
5. Take the SC-56 exit- EXIT 52- toward CLINTON. (0.22 miles)
6. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto SC-56. (1.78 miles)
7. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto WILLARD RD/SC-56/SC-72/FRANCES E WILLARD RD. Continue to follow SC-72 W. (25.93 miles)
8. End at Greenwood Civic Ctr 1610 Highway 72 221 E Greenwood, SC 29649 US
9. Total Estimated Time: 2 hours, 28 minutes Total Distance: 144.04 miles
The entrance into the civic center will be on your left hand side of the road and it will have a sign saying this way to the human society/ dog pound. It will not be a major road but it will be right before the civic center. You will have the huge civic center building on your left and the road will be right before it. Than follow that road past the baseball stadium to the back of the complex and there you will find the field. You will go through a gate and the field will be on your right.
