Charlotte began the weekend with a solid 30-7 victory over Methodist in pool play.
After NC State also defeated Methodist, the deciding match between the Niners and
the Wolfpack was a close contest, but NC State prevailed 23-14, sending Charlotte
to the Silver Playoff bracket. NC State went on to win the tournament. A total of 19
teams participated.
In the Silver Playoff bracket, the Niners were defeated by Georgia Tech-A, before
topping Wake Forest to win the consolation prize and take 8th overall. Our team was
strong in singles all weekend long, and had mixed results in doubles and coed doubles.
