Write a Letter to a Soldier

"Why ya lookin'
so sad? I got out of it okay."
Our Write a Letter to a Soldier Program is on hold! We will
bring this program back on line soon. We are waiting on funding to
get another P.O.Box. Check back soon, but in the meantime you can
get your letters ready.
Please
help us support those that are still in uniform and are serving
overseas. There is really no single more important thing you can
do than to write a letter to a soldier. Letters sent to us will go
to soldiers that we personally know, and do a huge service to support
those currently fighting for you.
Your mail will go to
a male soldier serving in the enlisted corps of the Army. When you
receive a response you can begin writing the soldier directly yourself,
or if you choose you can write a different soldier by repeating the
process.
Writing a letter to a soldier is easy, just follow these simple
steps.
- Write or type your letter... if you can't think of what to write
or would like an idea to get you started, take a look at this
sample letter.
To download a copy in MS Word format right-click this
link, then select
"save target as..."
- Put your letter in a stamped envelope, make sure you have your
return address clearly printed in the upper left corner. Don't
put an address on it, leave this blank.
- Put your stamped envelope inside another, larger envelope and mail
it to...
UNCC Veterans Club - Soldier Mail
PO Box ??????
Charlotte, NC ??????
- That's it. We'll take it from there. We can't
guarantee that your will get a response, but rest assured your letter
will make it into the hands of a soldier.
- Thank you!
